Project: Central Parking Stucture (Naperville, IL)
J.Gill and Company was hired by the City of Naperville to perform a full restoration and repair project in the Central Parking Structure located in downtown Naperville. This precast concrete structure received over 900 new supplemental shear connectors, all new joint sealants, new drains & plumbing, miscellaneous concrete repairs, new polyurethane traffic coating, and fresh white paint to the ceilings, walls, & columns in the garage. This project also included structural strengthening methods using steel components, specialty epoxies, & carbon fiber reinforced fabric (CFRP). This $1 million project was completed in August of 2021.
