​In the spring of 2017, the Park Alexandria Condominium hired J.Gill and Company to perform emergency structural repairs after the Condominium's engineering consultant discovered cracking around several of the columns in the parking garage. The scope of work included epoxy injection of the cracks, trenching in additional reinforcing steel, installing 3-layers of carbon-fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) fabric at all the column locations, application of an epoxy overlay to protect the CFRP, removal and replacement of nearby CMU walls, and vehicular traffic polyurethane waterproofing to the parking garage floor.
